To many people, marketing their business online is unusual and sometimes a daunting idea. However, others are more comfortable with internet marketing than anything else. Do you sometimes wonder just exactly how a website is displayed on Yahoo, MSN or Google?
1. Quality Customer Service–Be available for your clients with a serving attitude. Want a good business rating? Customers service quality is a big deal to most everyone. You may have a snazzy website or earth shattering product, but your business will die without customer appreciation.
2. Honesty (Especially Advertising)–Lies are the fall of any business venture or relationship. If you can’t believe someone, everybody avoids you. It will be the death of anything, including your business. To ensure you’re honest, you should know your facts (check with your support team if you’re not sure), do what you’ve promised, avoid using deceptive advertising, etc.
3. Business Essentials–Every business, especially online ones, need a toll-free number for their clients to call. I suggest you use http://www.Kall8.com service. I have used their 800 service for 3 years & have been nothing but happy.
4. Building Your Website–This is perhaps the most complex and hardest to explain in an article, so I’ll just give you a brief overview. Believe me, if you need particulars about doing anything, including building a website, I’m happy to talk with you on the phone (800-875-2027).
A. Buy your Domain–I use GoDaddy.com–Again, they are great to deal with, as well as affordably priced. When you buy your domain, I’d buy something with the words “Goji Juice” in them. Prefferably do something like I did: Business name is Goji Juice Goodness International, so my website is GojiJuiceGoodness.net. Also, I’d buy either a “.com” or “.net”.
B. Get a Host–I use HostGator.com–Yup, they’re great to deal with, including banking account friendly.
C. Start Building–If you’re new to building a website, I’d use WordPress.com. Otherwise, I’m sure you know your favorite one. Need ideas for content? What should you say? What makes a website informative, yet not overpowering? Just call us & first, we’ll give you some example websites to learn from (of course, these websites are copyrighted–you can NOT ever use their content). Second, we’ll help you outline your website, including references for where to do your own research. This may all sound hard, but it’s really not that bad.
5. Communicating with your Clients & Team–To stay conntect to your team, we suggest you use social media such as Twitter, Google+ and then Skype is a pretty handy tool as well. Of course, you can always give your team a call or e-mail message, but this is instant & more business geared. For clients, you’ll need to be more personal & professional, so you can use an autoresponder e-newsleter. You create the e-mails yourself at Aweber.com & then allow people to subscribe. This service also provides some minor website services like pop-up subscriptions on your site that we suggest using. I also suggest you send out a magnet, business card & thank you letter to each customer with their first order.
6. Marketing–Again, this is confiluted subject to many. If you have no clue what this is all about, I’m sure you wouldn’t understand my explanation, so it’s just easiest to give you an overview here. Should you need the detailed information, I’m happy to go over it with you & explain what it’s all about. For now…internet marketing includes Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay Per Click (PPC), blog & forum commenting, blog posting, article writing, etc.
I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed with so much information. In fact, I just want you to get a grasp of internet marketing. Of course, should you have any questions, just give me a call (800-875-2027) or drop me an e-mail (gojijuicegoodness@gmail.com).
I found your blog on google and read a few of your other posts. I just added you to my Google News Reader. Keep up the great work Look forward to reading more from you in the future.
